Kali Kocian finished ninth for the Cardinals with a time of 14:11.
Three of her teammates -- Samantha Siegel (10th, 14:14), Katelynn Leist (13th, 14:24) and Ashton Kutac (16, 14:31) -- finished within 20 seconds of Kocian’s time to lead the balanced St. Paul team.
The Top 10 finishes made Kocian and Siegel members of the all-state team.
Other individual times for St. Paul included Emily Wagner (24th, 15:16), Mary Adamek (43rd, 15:59) and Davi Spaeth (46th, 16:08).
St. Paul finished 17 points ahead of Muenster Sacred Heart in the team totals.
Bulverde Bracken Christian, Marble Falls Faith Academy and University City First Baptist rounded out the top five.
In the boys’ division of the meet, sophomore Mason Matias finished 52nd with a time of 22.51.
