St. Paul (10-3) advanced with a 41-38 win over Bryan Brazos Christian.
Grace Prep (9-4) defeated district foe Fort Worth Temple Christian 24-21. Temple Christian had beaten Grace Prep 21-9 in district play.
St. Paul is making its second consecutive appearance in the state final after winning the Division III championship last season.
St. Paul is seeking its sixth state championship overall.
Grace Prep won state championships in 1997 and 1998, but won its first playoff game in 12 years this season.
St. Paul's Conor Kresta has rushed for 1,620 yards and 26 touchdowns, and Austin Barton has rushed for 1,200 yards and 13 touchdowns and passed for 811 yards and nine touchdowns.
