WACO – The Shiner St. Paul girls’ golf team captured the TAPPS Class 2A state championship on Tuesday ( April 16, 2019 ) at Cottonwood Creek Golf Course in Waco. The boys finished in third.
The St. Paul Lady Cardinals team won the 2019 2A State Title last week at the TAPPS Golf Tournament in Waco. In addition, several other Lady Cardinals competed as individuals. NOTE: This was the Lady Cardinals' third consecutive state golf championship, having also won in 2017 and 2018.
